To provide an apparatus for peeling a fiber reinforced resin layer capable of rapidly and securely obtaining a satisfactory cut surface without requiring a skill when a coating layer of a fiber reinforced resin tube is peeled.
There is provided an apparatus for peeling a fiber reinforced resin layer of a fiber reinforced tube which comprises: a clamp mechanism 2 for fixing a fiber reinforced resin tube 7 by grasping it from the outside; a center positioning tool 21 for fixing the fiber reinforced resin tube 7 from the inside; at least one set of coarse cutting tools 33 and a finish cutting tool 34; a cutting tool fixing part 31 in which the cutting tools 33 and 34 can be radially disposed around a shaft center of the fiber reinforced resin tube 7; a pressing mechanism 23 for pressing the center positioning tool 21 to the fiber reinforced resin tube 7; a drive mechanism 4 for rotating the clamp mechanism 2 or the cutting tool fixing part 31; and a moving mechanism 5 for moving the cutting tool fixing part 31 along the tube axis direction, in which a step is provided so that a blade edge of the coarse cutting tool 33 is positioned more adjacent to the end surface of a coating layer 75 by 0.5 to 1.0 mm than a blade edge of the finish cutting tool 34.
