To produce a perforated fleece having homogenous strength not only in the width direction but also in the direction perpendicular to the width direction by constructing the subject apparatus so that a number of sterically protruding parts are formed on an endless surface for supporting and transporting fleeces and high pressure water jet flow can be sprayed.
The objective apparatus for preparing a perforated fleece by means of hydrodynamic needling is constructed as follows, so that suctioning power of a pump can be applied on a fleece: draining openings 7 for discharging high pressure water jet flow ejected from a number of upper nozzle bars are formed on a smooth endless surface which supports and transfers fleeces, for example, on the surface of a rotating belt or on the outer surface of a rotating dram 1; a number of sterically protruding parts 6 like spikes, which protrude from the endless surface, make perforations on a fleece and cover 20-50% of the endless surface, are unevenly distributed; further a suctioning slit 10 of a suctioning roller 8 is formed between longitudinal slide rails 9 placed at both the sides of water jet flow striking the endless surface, to support the wall sides of the dram 1.
