To provide an apparatus for preventing formation of accumulations of feed which occurs in a feed conduit of parts before or after cage lines in a hopper feeder cage system, in which smooth operation is made possible, particularly even when the feed is much accumulated.
The hopper feeder cage system is composed of a hopper feeder for feeding feed to the feed conduit by carrying out reciprocation along the feed conduit and a feed return unit for transferring feed accumulations formed at return position of the reciprocation of the hopper feeder in the feed conduit toward the central side of the feed conduit along the feed conduit. In the system, the hopper feeder magnetically is connected to the feed return unit by a magnetic absorption structure at the return position of the reciprocation, and the feed return unit is transferred toward the central side of the feed conduit according to transfer of the hopper feeder and the feed return unit transfers at least a part of the feed accumulations to the central side of the feed conduit by the transfer and when the feed return unit attains a previously set position, the magnetic absorption is released by the release structure.
