PURPOSE: To prevent detention of refuse in the inlet of a refuse shredding apparatus automatically by receiving a signal of the refuse detention by a detention time determining flag, operating a hydraulic cylinder when an idling automatically detecting apparatus detects the idling, and adjusting the gap between rollers of a compressing feeder.
CONSTITUTION: A detention detecting apparatus 3 detects the refuse detention and sends a signal of the refuse detention to a detention time determining flag 4. The detention time determining flag 4 stores the times of detections of the refuse detentions which occur continuously. An idling automatically detecting apparatus 5 is installed in a compressing feeder and detects its idling. A controlling apparatus 6 receives signals from the idling automatically detecting apparatus 5 and the detention time determining flag 4 and it operates a pushing apparatus 8 when the detention time determining flag 4 receives a signal of refuse detention. When the detention time determining flag 4 receives a signal of refuse detention and the idling automatically detecting apparatus detects idling, a hydraulic cylinder apparatus 2 is operated corresponding to the hydraulic motor torque condition and thus the gap between rollers of the compressing feeder is adjusted.
