PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus capable of sufficiently diffusing preheated raw material powder in a low-temperature area and leading to a local high- temperature area and making throat diameter large without impairing granulating property, retaining height of a corn part to definite height even in scale up and remarkably reducing the equipment cost.
CONSTITUTION: A porous dispersing plate 16 is fitted in a throat 15 for vertically connecting a granulating furnace 4 to a burning furnace 7 and simultaneously a local high-temperature area (a) is formed in the vicinity of central part above this dispersing plate 16 to provide both effects of spouted bed and fluidized bed in the granulating furnace 4 and one sides, the preheated cement raw material powder is fed to a corn part 4c formed in the granulating furnace 4 to form a downward moving bed (b) and the raw material powder is sufficiently diffused by this moving bed (b) and reached the local high-temperature area (a).
