Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for easily and stably producing chlorine dioxide gas in an arbitrary constant concentration for a long period of time at a low cost.
SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with a reaction chamber 3 capable of producing chlorine dioxide by reacting a chlorite solution 1 with an acid 2, a chlorite solution feeding means 5 capable of continuously feeding the chlorite solution to the reaction chamber 3, an acid feeding means 6 capable of continuously feeding the acid to the reaction chamber 3, an aerator 18 capable of continuously blowing air into a mixed liquid of the chlorite solution and the acid fed into the reaction chamber 3, a taking-out passage 30 capable of taking out chlorine dioxide gas 29 in the reaction chamber 3, and a discharge passage 8 capable of continuously discharging a reacted waste liquid in the reaction chamber 3. Further, this apparatus is designed so that the amounts fed by the chlorite solution feeding means 5 and the acid feeding means 6, and the air blowing amount by the aerator 18 can be freely controlled.
