Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce controllable uniform conveying pressure by render a root diameter of conveying elements that form a teeth-like sealing profile approximately equal to a diameter of a shaft portion carrying out guide of a reverse element defined by the conveying elements at two axial ends.
CONSTITUTION: A root diameter D of each of conveying elements 1, 2 having teeth for conjoining sealing profiles with each other is approximately equal to a diameter d of shaft end sections portions 12a, 12b, 13a, 13b held by a sealing plate 3 which is pressure-sealed fixed in a casing 4. Due to this structure, sealing at the shaft end sections 12a, 12b, 13a, 13b can be omitted. The shaft end sections 12a, 12b, 13a and 13b are provided with internally helical-configured return conveying channels 20, 22, 21 and 23, respectively, which serve for returning a material that has penetrated into a gap between sealing plates 3, 5 to a space between the teeth of the conveying elements 1 and 2.
