PURPOSE: To perform the non-collision introduction of mold halves into the inlet of a molding route and the suitable ejection and draw-out of them at the outlet of the molding route by providing a laterally operated feed means between a feed route and a return route.
CONSTITUTION: A lateral feed pinion 47 is attached to a carriage 46 in order to feed mold halves laterally between a molding route and a return route and both end parts thereof are connected to large diameter edge discs 48. The carriage 46 is mounted on guide members 49, 50 by screws and the guide members 49, 50 run on the mutually parallel guide rails 51, 52 on respective frame structure portions so as to be laterally displaced. A pin 53 having the pinion 47 attached thereto in a rotatable manner is hollow and attached on the spline shaft 54 supported on a frame structure.
