To provide an apparatus for producing a frozen sweet capable of maintaining a suppliable state even when a mix is automatically fed to mix tanks.
This apparatus 1 for producing a frozen sweet is equipped with a mix feeding means for feeding a mix into the interior of each of mix tanks 6, a mix viscosity detecting means for detecting the viscosity of the mix in the mix tanks 6, a means for detecting the amount of the mix capable of detecting the amount of the mix in the mix tanks 6 and a controller for controlling the mix feeding means based on the output of each detecting means. The controller is capable of starting the feed of the mix to each of the mix tanks 6 when the amount of the mix in the mix tanks 6 is reduced, stopping the feed of the mix after feeding the mix for a prescribed time and subsequently stopping the feed of the mix until a rise in the viscosity of the mix to a prescribed value is detected with the mix viscosity detecting means.
