To provide an apparatus for producing a long-sized cylindrical pipe made by HIP with which a uniform spacing may be assured between a back metal and an inner metal even if the metallic capsule of a composite cylinder made by HIP is made to be a longer length.
This apparatus is constituted to from a lining layer by inserting the inner metal 2 which is a core material into the inner side of the back metal 1 having a cylindrical shape, assuring a powder packing region 3 between the back metal 1 and the inner metal 2, packing the powder for forming the lining layer into the powder packing region 3 and subjecting the power to an HIP treatment. In such a case, plural pieces each of adjusting pins 6 are mounted at the top end in the axial direction of the inner metal 2 and adjusting pine 7 at least at one point in the intermediate part apart equal intervals spaced respectively in the circumferential direction and the inner metal 2 is arranged into the back metal 1, by which the uniform spacing is formed between the back metal 1 and the inner metal 2.
