Abstract:
To produce a filling member-bearing wire rope at relatively high speed.
A cylindrical twister 10 and a basket type twister 20 are arranged tandem. A rotation shaft 14 of the cylindrical twister 10 is connected to a shaft 21 of the basket type twister 20. Six side strands 3 are wound on the delivery bobbins 12 of the cylindrical twister 10, and six filling members 4 are wound on the delivery bobbins 27 of the basket type twister 20. The six side strands 3 and the six filling members 4 are alternately twisted on the periphery of a core rope 2 supplied from the outside to produce the filling member-bearing wire rope 1.
