Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the headroom and save the construction expenses by installing a specific combination bin in an installation having a cereal cooker and a mash tun.
CONSTITUTION: This installation for producing a wort is obtained by combining an adjunct prewasher and a grist bin in a bin 5 disposed on the same level as that of a cereal cooker 4 and a mash tun 3. In the headroom of the bin 5, a malt adjunct bin 1 and a grist bin 2 are arranged to convey the adjunct and grist to the cereal cooker 4 with a pump 6.
