This apparatus for reaping weeds, is composed of a support detachably attached to the top of a driving arm of a working machine such as a backhoe, a pair of rotatable nipping arms for collecting and nipping weeds, having the rear end pivoted with a pivoting pin on the support, a nipping arm driving cylinder carrying out opening and closing drive of the pair of nipping arms and attached to the support, a pair of cutting blades for cutting weeds, nipped with the pair of nipping arms and a cutting blade-driving cylinder attached to the support so that action of the pair of cutting blades delays close action of the pair of nipping arm.
