Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for regenerating a semiconductor material at a low cost.
The apparatus 30A for regenerating the semiconductor material comprises a phosphorus removal unit 34 and a thermal donor unit 40. The silicon waste recovered by a silicon waste recovery unit 32 is further regenerated in the apparatus 30A for regenerating the semiconductor material. The semiconductor material from which impurities are removed by the apparatus 30A for regenerating the semiconductor material is used as a material of a solar cell to be manufactured by a solar cell manufacturing unit 42. The semiconductor material can be regenerated at the cost lower than before in the apparatus 30A for regenerating the semiconductor material.
