Title:
APPARATUS FOR REGULATING AMOUNT OF FIBRE FED TO CARDING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012149376
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an apparatus for regulating an amount of fibre fed to a carding machine that allows a more uniform feed of fibre flocks even when there are relatively large variations in a pressure and/or the amount of fibre material as a consequence of changing fibre material requirements of a downstream carding machine.

There is provided an apparatus for regulating an amount of fibre flocks to be fed to at least one carding machine that comprises a pressure-measuring device built in a pneumatic feeding and distributing path that is connected to an upstream of the carding machine, converting a pressure into an electric signal (pressure actual value) in the pressure-measuring device. An output end of the pressure-measuring device is connected to a flock conveyer, e.g. a controllable driving device of a clearer, via an adjusting device. There is a controlling device (computer) between the pressure-measuring device and the adjusting device for inputting a signal for the pressure actual value. In the controlling device, an electric signal is formed for a modified pressure actual value, which is obtained by a differential of Δp/Δt, so as to feed the adjusting device.
