Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently and sufficiently remove foreign materials such as hairs, fats, red meats, etc., sticking to the surface of a dressed carcass.

CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for removing foreign materials of a dressed carcass is obtained by freely liftably and lowerably supporting suction members having suction ports 37b directing to the crossing outer peripheral surface of the dressed carcass hung in a state of nearly vertical body part, turning the suction ports 37b of the suction members in the form of nearly a circular arc form copying the cross-sectional outer shape of the dressed carcass so as to enable the contact with all or a part of the crossing outer periphery of the dressed carcass and connecting a vacuum device to the suction members so as to apply a suction force from the suction ports 37b into the interior thereof.
