PURPOSE: To remove magnetic powder easily and surely by providing a permanent magnet which attracts magnetic powder mixed with fluid in the inside of a pipe wherein the fluid is flowing in an apparatus for removing the magnetic powder mixed with the oil for cooling machines.

CONSTITUTION: Liquid is flowed in the axial direction of a pipe body 11 and the magnetic powder contained in the liquid is attracted to the inner peripheral surface of a permanent magnet 12 when the liquid is passed therethrough. The magnet 12 is large in the inner diameter and thin-walled, and the resistance of pipeline for said liquid is small. Also, the magnet 12 is composed of a radially magnetized rare earth cobalt magnet.
