This apparatus for repelling birds has constitution that since light reflection pieces 15 are scatteringly dispersed in various directions so that the reflected light is observed so as to make a reflection part of sunshine lock like a light reflection belt 18 having certain width even in visual observation from a distance, light reflection pieces wholly colored black emit reflection light which reaches bird eyes and looks like as a light reflection belt 18a in the case of first direction, emit reflection light which reaches bird eyes and looks like as a light reflection belt 18b in the case of second direction and emit reflection light which reaches bird eyes and looks like as a light reflection belt 18c in the case of third direction, depending upon the visual observation of bird eyes.
