Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for selecting and controlling warp thread moving means, one by one, when making a preparation operation of weaving woven fabrics with a loom and an operation for actually weaving the woven fabrics.

CONSTITUTION: The apparatus (a) has a pair of plural selection bars 1 and 11, where the respective bars of the pair move back and forth vertically in phases opposite to each other; (b) has corresponding rods 8 accepted in each of a pair of the selection bars for moving warp threads; (c) has appliances for hooking the rods to the selection bars under control [i.e., by a command]; and (d) has electronic, logic and control circuits for actuating the hooking means.
