To provide an apparatus for separately storing printing paper sheets capable of automatically sorting a plurality of kinds of printing paper sheets of the same purpose according to their kinds and arranging and storing the printing paper sheets in dedicated stackers in sequence when the apparatus is started to operate while the printing paper sheets are stacked and stored in a locker part.

The apparatus for separately storing printing paper sheets is provided inside a casing and has the locker part for storing and setting a plurality of kinds of printing paper sheets in a stack, a means for sending the printing paper sheets one by one from the locker part, and a means for conveying the printing paper sheets sent. The apparatus has a direction switching means in a portion of a conveyance path formed by the conveying means. Slots for the printing paper sheets conveyed are provided at at least the respective terminals of the direction switching means and the conveyance path. Strike plates pushed and biased by respective coil springs are provided along the slots. The apparatus has a stacker divided by the strike plates. Also, the apparatus has between the strike plates a pressure plate that is movable following a driving source.
