In the apparatus 3 for shaping the workpiece corner with which a side wall part W7 which rises continuously along the adjacent part W5 of the corner part is formed by causing plastic deformation in the corner part of a planar workpiece W and a place in the adjacent part W5 of this corner part which is a part in the vicinity of the corner part by cooperation of a die 5 with a shaping roller 7, the apparatus has a shaping roller centering mechanism 41 for automatically adjusting the posture of the shaping roller 7 by the force which is received from the workpiece W when shaping the workpiece W.
