Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus capable of stopping carrier truck correctly at a required position, by effecting engagement and disengagement of dogs and pushers of the driving chain and raising and lowering of stopper of the positioning apparatus simultaneously through reciprocal movement of an actuator rod.

CONSTITUTION: Carrier truck 1 has a dog 10 to be engaged with pusher 19 and it is driven by the pusher 19 through the drive of driving chain 15. When the truck 1 comes a little short of the position where it is required to stop, actuator rod 25 is moved in the direction of arrow B shown in the drawing, so as to raise vertically movable member 20 and stopper 29 upward by means of cams 23, 33. Resultantly, dog 10 is also raised upward until it comes out of engagement with pusher 19, so that truck 1 is stopped. Then, positioning stopper 32 is moved forward until it comes into engagement with positioning lug 12 of truck 1 and pushes the same, whereby truck 1 is stopped correctly at the position of stopper 29.
