PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus for stuffing a silage capable of providing the silage of good quality by pressing a feed raw material according to a piston method into a plastic tube for housing by a pressing in method and a method for producing the silage.

CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is constructed of a pressing in part 2, a tube holder part 3 and a plastic tube 4 for housing and the pressing in part 2 is formed of a pressing in cylinder (2B) arranged in the front and rear directions on a frame (2A) constructed so as to freely move, a supplying cylinder (2C) installed connectedly to the frame and a piston (2D) provided in the pressing in cylinder. The tube holder part 3 is constructed from a drum (3B) arranged on the frame (3A) connected to the pressing in part 2 and a rear pressing in cylinder (3D), etc., supported in the front and rear directions. The plastic tube 4 has a rear end part (4A) in a hermetically sealed state and the front part (4C) is attached in a shrunk state in the form of bellows to the outer peripheral surface of the drum (3B) so as to be freely drawn out.
