Abstract:
PURPOSE: To sufficiently tightly wind wire coils in supplying the wire coils to a vertical winder while preventing a wire from falling and shifting in position at a terminal of unbound wire coils.
CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a side supporting body 4 for supporting a side 3a of a wire coil 3, a side end face supporting body 5 provided an end of the side supporting body 4 for supporting one of end faces 3b of the wire coil 3 and rotating mechanisms 7, 13 for rotating the side supporting body 4 and the side end face supporting body 5 by 90°, while an end face supporting body 17 for supporting the other end face 3c of the wire coil 3 is provided on the other end of the supporting body 4, wherein the supporting body 17 can rotate between a sidetrack position and a supporting position at the other end face.
