To achieve stable operation by preventing early deterioration of a connected portion between the injection sleeve and the molten metal electromagnetic pump when charging molten metal to an injection sleeve of a die casting machine using a molten metal electromagnetic pump.
A duct 1' of a molten metal electromagnetic pump 10 is connected to an injection sleeve 20 of a die casting machine 21 via a buffer joint 28. The buffer joint 28 is a joint formed by stacking a packing material 37 in a cylindrical shape to form a packing portion serving as a transfer path surrounding a channel for molten metal, and holding the cylindrical packing portion formed of the packing material 37 between a pair of pipe connecting flanges 36, 36 made of ceramic having heat resistant ceramic. The packing material 37 is formed, for example, by using a metal wire as a core 52, and covering the core 52 with graphite 51.
