Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for automatically supplying a cylinder-held roll, which is supported at a cylinder portion of a roll body, to a production machine in a roll-to-roll system.SOLUTION: The apparatus for supplying a roll body includes: a stage 16 with a base 17 supporting a roll body 200 at the cylinder portion thereof; five-axis (5-axis) movement mechanism units 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 for moving the stage; a control unit for controlling the position of the stage; and a camera 30 disposed near one of chucking devices 150 for chucking both ends of a core 201. First, an operation to align the central axis of the core to the optical axis of the camera is performed (first operation) by causing movement so that the central axis of the core comes to the optical axis of the camera. Then, the stage is moved so that the central axis of the core of the roll body is aligned along the central axis of the chucking devices (second operation).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
