Abstract:

To stably and quantitatively supply a staple fibrous material containing water.

An apparatus for supplying staple fiber includes a hopper 10 to which a staple fibrous material containing water is fed, a screw feeder part 28 composed of a screw 26 installed in a rotary shaft 18 set in a freely rotating manner in the inside of the hopper 10, and paddles 30 and 32 attached to the rotary shaft 18 in the screw feeder part 28 or its periphery, and the paddles 30 and 32 are bent or curved at an angle of 10 to 100 toward the rotation direction of the paddles 30 and 32.
