To provide an apparatus for sweeping up and removing paper dust or the like which can remove scum-like paper dust or the like such as remaining or deposited on cardboards for assembling which are cut, shaped, and kept in a piled state, efficiently in a simple way in a short time.

This apparatus for sweeping up and removing paper dust, etc., comprises a main body 2 having an opening at its under side; a brush-type sweep-up mechanism section 3 having a pair of brushes 4a, 4b arranged at near the underside opening of the main body 2; a belt-type paper dust transport mechanism section 5 which is arranged between the pair of brushes 4a, 4b of the brush-type sweeping up mechanism section 3 and transports the paper dust swept up by the brush-type sweep-up mechanism section 3 from the opening side to the inside of the main body; a duct section 6 which sucks the paper dust, etc., transported by the belt-type paper dust transport mechanism section 5 formed in the main body 2 and enables the transportation to the outside; and a drive motor which imparts sweep-up force to the brushes 4a, 4b of the brush-type sweep-up mechanism section 3 and transporting force to the belt-type paper dust transport mechanism section 5.
