To provide a method for 3D imaging and stereography without using multiple or special cameras.
A method of estimating 3-dimensional location data of a human body from 2-dimensional images comprises the steps of: receiving 2-dimensional image data related to acquired images on which at least a part of the human body is recorded; identifying anatomical structures of the human body in the 2-dimensional image data by calculation; matching the identified structures in the 2-dimensional image data with 3-dimensional skeleton model elements which regulate restriction on spatial relation among two or more anatomical structures of the human body; and, based on comparison between the 2-dimensional projections of the matched 3-dimensional skeleton model elements and the locations of the identified structures in the 2-dimensional image data, estimating location information related to physical locations of the structures at the time point of recording of acquired images, the location information being of at least one of the identified structures.
