To provide an apparatus that can be fixed by suction and that can exert excellent suction performance against an external force acting in not only a vertical direction but also a horizontal direction relative to a mounting surface.
In the apparatus that can be fixed by suction, an apparatus body 2 includes: a suction member 5 with a suction surface 50 exposed to the outside of the apparatus body 2; and an elastic member 6 with a pressure contact surface 60 exposed to the outside of the apparatus body 2 while directed in the same direction as the suction surface 50 of the suction member 5. The suction fixable apparatus is allowed to bring the suction surface 50 of the suction member 5 and the pressure contact surface 60 of the elastic member 6 into close contact with a mounting surface of a suction counterpart at the same time. The elastic member 6 is formed of an elastic material with an elastic coefficient higher than that of the material of the suction member 5.
