Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for thermomechanical analysis capable of easily changing a sample.
CONSTITUTION: For a sample change, no current is fed to a focusing coil 3 to set a load to zero. The length of a spring 2 is L0 at this time. A current is fed to the focusing coil 3, and the force ΔF is generated upward. The length of the spring 2 is L1 at this time, and ΔF=-k(L1-L0), where (k) is the spring constant. When the load ΔF of the focusing coil 3 is increased or decreased by a proper value, a detecting rod 1 can be stopped at a proper position. When the load ΔF is again returned to zero after the sample change, the detecting rod 1 can be returned into contact with a sample M in the no-load state.
