To provide an apparatus to collect and remove hazardous materials, which assuredly induces air containing various hazardous materials generated from sources such as autopsy samples to prevent exposure to workers and spread in a room, and which makes related work easier to do.

The apparatus to collect and remove hazardous materials generated on the treatment table has, on the treatment table for autopsy samples and patients, long side sections and inside sections placed substantially vertical to the top surface of the long side sections and against or next to the outside edges; creates an induction slit on the inside sections facing each other, with almost the same length as the long side section; places a plenum box in communication with the induction slit and creates an opening on the plenum box to communicate with an air collection chamber; and makes the cross section of the plenum box gradually bigger to equalize the air induction rate at the induction slit as a whole.
