The apparatus for transport and controlled unloading of the load comprises a frame with guides 5, 6 for a series of movable transport containers, a drive means for carrying the transport containers in an endless track. The transport containers are provided with at least partially movable carrying panels 21, 22 for receiving the load thereon, comprising a selectively operable tray between a transporting position and an unloading position. In order to bring about a mutual engagement of the separate transport containers, coupling members 27, 28 are provided between the transport containers.
