Abstract:

To perform transportation of a can-less fiber sliver package in the simple form.

An apparatus transports the can-less fiber sliver package, for example, between a spinning machine for delivering the sliver such as a drawing frame or a storage means and a further processing device or a further storage means in the spinning mill. The apparatus has a support for receiving the can-less fiber sliver package, the support is approximately unenclosed and the support and the can-less fiber sliver package can be commonly transported. The support for receiving at least one fiber sliver package is brought to the spinning machine for delivering the sliver or the storage means so as to perform simple transportation of the can-less fiber sliver package. After the package is received, the support can be fed to the further processing device or the further storage means integrally with the stably positioned fiber sliver package.
