Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve an apparatus for transporting a track section to make it suitable for transporting and laying/removing a significantly elongated track, specifically a point track section.
CONSTITUTION: A transport car 2 has one joint 10 in the middle of a rail- traveling track 8, and the support frame 13 of a lifting device 3 also has one joint 14. The transport car 2 is supported in the range of the joint 10 by means of another rail-traveling track 11 and another non-restraint travel mechanism 12 whose height is adjustable. The support frame 13 of the lifting device 3 has another pair of lifting plungers 16 in the range of the joint 14.
