Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for treating the inner surface of a cylinder which is able to perform various kinds of treatment by preventing substantially a treating liquid from contacting the outer surface of a cylinder to be treated and allowing the treating liquid to contact only specified positions on the inner surface of the cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for treating the inner surface of a cylinder 1 with a treating liquid, a blocked space 3 is formed in either of the upper and lower parts separated by a partition plate 2. In a penetrated hole 4 fixed on the partition plate, a treating-liquid dispersing nozzle 5, which is engaged to the cylinder 1 and can flow down the treating liquid sent from the lower part through a space of the cylinder, is installed approximately vertically. A supply pipe 6 for the treating liquid is connected to the treating-liquid dispersing nozzle. In the condition of the treating-liquid dispersing nozzle 5 being engaged to the cylinder, a device 7 which can control the lower part of the partition plate 2 at a relatively negative pressure is installed.
