Abstract:
To efficiently remove dioxins from a waste gas.
This apparatus comprises a bag house 23 which is installed in a direct suction type waste discharge route 2 which sucks a waste gas of an electric furnace 1 directly and dust in the waste gas is collected by a bag filter 231 installed therein. A catalytic reaction tower 25 is provided in the downstream side of the bag filter 23 and dioxins in the waste gas are oxidized and decomposed by a catalytic layer formed in the inside. The catalyst layer comprises titanium oxide, vanadium pentoxide, tungsten, or the like.
