In the apparatus for separating crystals from sludge 1, or from separated water generated in a sludge concentration process or a dewatering process, a separation apparatus of crystals is provided with the liquid cyclone 2 for separating crystals by charging the sludge 1 or separated water, and a return pipe 7 returning the sludge 1 or separated water flowing out of an overflow rising pipe 5 of the liquid cyclone 2 to a charge port of the sludge or separated water of the liquid cyclone.
