To provide an apparatus for turning a booklet over with high reliability which can surely practice a series of actions consisting of introducing the booklet into a carrying path, turning a cover over, in addition, accurately turning a specified page over and discharging it.

For introducing the booklet 1 and turning a required page 1a over and discharging it, a large diameter driving roller 8 being driven so as to temporarily pinch a bound part 1c between it and a lower idle roller 9, a movable carrying guide 6, the first roller driving mechanism 15 which is the first driving means held under a condition where it is brought into contact with the first driving roller 21 whose driving is stopped and driven while the first driving roller is under a condition where it is brought into contact with the idle roller 10 in the carrying path, a pressing member driving mechanism 25 which is the second driving means provided with a shaft body 28 and a turning-over driving mechanism 30 which is the third driving means for performing turning-over by being carried into the back surface side of the second driving roller 39 are provided.
