To improve the removability of a cartridge while a positioning structure and a holding structure of the cartridge in an apparatus are maintained as much as possible.

The apparatus using the cartridge has a cartridge mounting part in which the cartridge is mounted, and a lid body which covers the cartridge mounting part. The lid body has a cartridge supporting-holding mechanism by which the lid body is closed while the cartridge is mounted in the cartridge mounting part, and which produces a posture capable of supporting and holding the cartridge. The cartridge is removed from the cartridge mounting part supporting and holding the cartridge when the lid body is opened.
