PURPOSE: To wash the inside and outside of a bottle by rapidly peeling off the label bonded to the bottle when the recovered bottle is reused by a method wherein the recovered bottle is inverted to be sunk in a high temp. liquid while the air in the bottle is drawn out by an air venting tube and a washing solution is injected to the bottle from below after the tube is pulled out.

CONSTITUTION: An erected recovered bottle A is received in a basket 1 to be inverted to direct the mouth of the bottle downwardly and the air suction tube 4 waiting in such a state that the leading end thereof is slightly put out from the surface of the hot water in a high temp. immersion tank 3 is inserted in the bottle A to sink the bottle and air is removed from the bottle. Subsequently, the tube 4 is removed and the basket 1 is moved toward the outlet of the tank 3. This operation is repeated. After the bottle is immersed for a definite time, the bottle is taken out of the hot water to be subjected to finish washing by the washing solution injected from a jet nozzle 9. The basket 1 is again reversed to discharge the bottle in an erected state and returned toward the inlet of the tank 3. As a result, when the recovered bottle is reused, the bonded label is rapidly peeled off to make it possible to wash the inside and outside of the bottle. Further, the washing machine can be miniaturized.
