PURPOSE: To complete developing of image data before goods are sent to a labeling section to improve the overall processing speed of an apparatus.

CONSTITUTION: An apparatus consists of a weighing section, a packaging section, a printing/labeling section and a label printer. The label printer is equipped with an image buffer which is divided into three parts of first, second and third buffers and a buffer control memory having areas for the sections. Image data for labels to be attached on goods loaded on the weighing section are developed on the first, second or third image buffer immediately after weighing is completed, and the buffer number, on which the image data of the goods conveyed are developed, are stored in the areas of the buffer control memory. When goods are sent to the printing/labeling section, printing is performed on labels based on the image data developed on the buffer corresponding to the buffer number stored in the printing/labeling section area of the buffer control memory.
