To provide a grinding/dispersing apparatus which is simple in constitution and inexpensive and can grind and disperse various specimens efficiently.

In a homogenizer 1, a polymer bag in which a specimen is sealed together with a dispersing medium can be held between a plate 21 and rollers 23, 25. When a motor 27 is driven in this state, powder is transmitted through a link 29, and the rollers 23, 25 reciprocates in the vertical direction of figure 1. The rollers 23, 25 are arranged at a prescribed interval through spacers 47, 48, and grooves are formed in the circumferential direction on the whole. Besides, V-shaped grooves 21a are formed in the plate 21. The rollers 23, 25, when reciprocated, move on the polymer bag while rotating. The specimen in the bag moving along each groove receives shear stress at a part where the plate 21 comes in contact with the rollers 23, 25 to be ground down.
