To provide a small-sized apparatus which has a battery chamber for a battery inserted therein lengthwise and a battery cover for covering the battery chamber, and which operates by the supply of power from the battery in the battery chamber.
In the depth of the battery chamber 2-1, the apparatus has movable contacts 4-1 and 4-2 which are relatively weak in springiness. Also, on the battery cover 3, the apparatus has a movable contact 5 which is relatively high in springiness compared to that of the movable contacts 4-1 and 4-1 at the back of the battery chamber 2-1. Further, in the apparatus, the movable contact 5 comprises: a coil spring 5-11; a contact metal plate 5-2 in which an insulation piece 5-4 is fitted and covered with the coil spring 5-11 and which receives the springing force of the coil spring 5-11 and comes into contact with the terminal of the battery 100 in the battery chamber 2-1; and a hold plate which keeps the contact metal plate 5-2 covering the coil spring 5-11.
