Abstract:
To overcome shortcomings such as being complicated or unreliable at times because of bending of clothes in a joint of a wearer in apparel having a sensor system incorporated, and to provide a novel characteristic unavailable so far.SOLUTION: A sensor system includes: one or a plurality of sensors formed of a polymeric material having a conductive particulate material dispersed; and a conductive lead wire connecting the sensor to a port. The lead wire may be formed of the polymeric material having the conductive particulate material dispersed. The conductive material is dispersed in the sensor(s) at first dispersion density, and the conductive material is dispersed in the leads wire at second dispersion density higher than the first dispersion density. Each of the sensors is configured so that resistance increases when deformed under pressure, which is detected by a module connected to the port. The second dispersion density is such that each of the lead wire has conductivity sufficient to be configured to deliver an electronic signal between each sensor and the port in a state of any deformation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
