With respect to the application container having a container body proper (1) filled with liquid state substance and an application member (2) that includes a spout opening (t) from which the liquid state substance in the container body proper (1) is discharged and subsequently applied, the application member (2) is constituted of an intermediary stopper (2a) held at the mouth portion (1a) of the container body proper (1) including a passage (s) in communication both with the inside and outside of the container, a nozzle (2b) that slidably covers the outside end of the passage (s) of the intermediary stopper (2a) and discharges the liquid state substance passed through the passage (s) to the outer world from through the spout opening (t), and of an application body (2c) that is fixed and held at the intermediary stopper (2a) so as to enclose the nozzle (2b) for application of the liquid state substance with its head portion, while an elastic arm (3) is installed, between the nozzle (2b) and the application body (2c), which is integrally connected with the whole area or at a plurality of positions of the periphery of the body of the nozzle (2b), pressing the nozzle (2b) upward so that the spout opening (t) and the passage (s) come in communication.
