PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application icon management system easy in operation and electronic equipment applying the application icon management system.SOLUTION: An application icon management system configured so as to be executed in electronic equipment in which a plurality of applications are installed includes: an interface management module for dividing the electronic equipment into a first display section and a second display section where the first display section displays various types of application icons, and the second display section displays a plurality of buttons for controlling the application icons in the first display section; and a control module for determining the button selected in the second display section and the application icon selected in the first display section, and for managing the selected application icon by a function corresponding to the selected button.
