To provide a method for limiting access to a storage area on a device relative to an application.

The method includes steps of a receiving means of the device receiving an application through a network; a directory forming means of the device forming, upon receipt of the application, a specific sub-directory in a storage area on the device based on a specific identifier of the application; a means for storing applications of the device storing the application in the specific sub-directory; and a means for mapping a sub-directory to a route directory of the device mapping the specific sub-directory of the application to the route directory, thereby permitting the application to access the storage area.
