Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for fixing the hands and legs of a patient by applying a material which is usable as an orthopedic bandage. CONSTITUTION: A resin is hardened by, e.g. polymerization which is started by immersing a substrate coated with the resin in a bath 15. During the execution of this method, gloves 13 for which a coating that becomes lubricant to the substrate coated with the resin is provided during use are worn. Thus, interference with the application of the substrate, resulting from the substrate which becomes adherent to the gloves 13, is substantially reduced or excluded by the lubricity of the gloves 13.
