This corrugated strip comprises on its lower edge, in front view, at least one downwardly projecting motif (9) whose contour is such that, if alpham and alphaM designate the ends of the algebraic value of the angle that the tangent to the contour forms with the horizontal direction, thenwherein alpha0 designates a predetermined angle at least equal to 5°. The corrugated is particularly useful in air distillation columns on board floating oil platforms or barges.
